Jonathan Coles burst onto the Countdown scene just a few weeks ago with a phenomenal debut score of 124, one of the highest debut scores of all time and second highest score of the series so far.He didn't quite manage to scale these heights in subsequent games, but still struck fear into the hearts of his opponents, including my personal favourite contestant of the series, little old dear Connie, damn you Jonathan!
Reverend Barry Smith appearing a few months back where he was commended for beating his wife (she won 5 games, no domestic abuse going on there!) But then as the omniscient O'Donnell predicted, he lost to Bob O'Keefe on a crucial conundrum with two K's in it. The winner of todays game will be basqued in glory before going on to meet the wrath of David O'Donnell in tomorrow's first semi-final. Game on I say!
