Teatime teaser: COPSLOAF -> FOOLSCAP

Round 6: O M K E T R A I D

C1: MEDIATOR (8)
C2: ROAMED (6)

Round 7: G C N O A O R C I

C1: CARING (6)
C2: RACCOON (7)
DC: ORGANIC (7)
Score: 48–21 (max 55)

Although unsure of the spelling (both RACOON and RACCOON are acceptable) Wendy claws some points back with everyone’s favourite furry North American mammal. *Michael Wallace starts cheering for Wendy instead.

C1: HOARSEN (7)

C2: POTTIES (7)
DC: POINTIEST (18)
Score: 105–38 (max 112)

Round 14: 25, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8. Target: 544.

C1: 544. (8x3-2)x25-6 (10)
C2: 540.
Score: 115–38 (max 122)

Oli has maxed an impressive 13 rounds so far. Can he make it 14?

Round 15: B O T T O M H O C

C2 buzzes on 28 seconds to say "TOOTHCOMB? Or is it COMBTOOTH? No it’s neither!" Jeff accepts her first declaration which is correct!
Score: 115–48 (max 132)

Here’s a picture of a Toothcomb but not the one in the ODE apparently. Wendy’s conundrum spot puts a dampener on Oli’s already impressive score, but notably they attained a max game between them. Tune intomorrow with James Robinson for the final 2 legs of Oli’s quest for Octochampdom.

This is the first recap I’ve written as an engaged man. Kick ass :)
