Both players get 10 again with 458.

Round 15: R I P E G R E E N

John buzzes on 1 second to say PEREGRINE which is correct.

John Hardie gets one of his now famous zero second conundrums. He spots PEREGRINE before the clock starts. For the sake of the recap writer not getting completely confused, I have marked it down as 1 second.

Final Score: 107–122 (max 146)

So despite getting that zero second conundrum, John Hardie bows out. He was beaten by a brilliant performance from Matthew Tassier, who was magnificent today and thoroughly deserves his place in the Semi Finals. This was a great game. The 4th Quarter Final of a series is always an interesting affair with the players so closely locked together and this series was no different. Matthew Tassier now has the pleasure of playing the number one seed Thomas Carey on Monday. Will he meet his match, or will he spring a surprise? Join Andy McGurn on Monday to find out. As for me, my next recap is on 8th January. By that time the long awaited Champion of Champions will be underway. I hope you will join me for that. In the meantime, I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you very much for reading, and goodbye. :)
