Countdown recap for Friday 8 November 2013.

Well it's been a funny old week. Apterite Alan 'Youngy' Young was beaten by Michael McLaughlin on Tuesday, who was then beaten himself by our current Champion Sarah Taylor. Today could see the title of Champion change hands again, as a member of the Edinburgh Countdown Club Anne Lambert takes the Challenger's Chair.

Neither contestant could quite fathom this out, so no points. It was then left to Rachel to shine :)

A massive miss here as both players miss the chance to achieve SAINTHOOD and settle for fives instead.

Anne slips up with the numbers, so Sarah takes the lead by getting 604 spot on.

C1 buzzes on 10 seconds to say HOROSCOPE which is correct.
Final Score: 104–77 (max 146)

And Sarah caps it all with a fine conundrum HOROSCOPE to complete her century.
