Not a chance!
Maybe they should be awarded as losers' prizes at forthcoming Co-events.

Well, I'm going to be buying about a dozen and probably a commemorative plate too, so I'll probably be able to spare one for you, Howard.

My parents had a Charles/Diana commemorative mug which for almost my entire childhood I thought was of them (as in, my parents) at their own wedding.

I'm touched, Martin.
I'm quite sure it would have more chance of outliving me than the one other commemorative mug that I've ever had - a coronation souvenir, one of which was given to all school kids in 1953.

Is this C4Countdown's most oblique coming-out topic?

No, it's just that loving Eurovision is generally considered gayer than loving a good royal wedding.
It's one of the many reasons for which people (wrongly) accuse me of being gay.

Is anyone else now hoping they'll get married as our entry to next year's competition?

Haha. I wasn't "accusing" you of anything, just trying to make sense of your inexplicable love for commerative crockery.

I reckon offering Kate Middleton as a losing prize will see an epic downturn in the Bevins' performance.

My parents have unearthed a number of Charles/Diana wedding commemorative bottles of Coca-Cola. I shall see if I can get a photo of one.
