Braised a slab of pork ribs slowly in the oven in a liquid sauce of store cupboard stuff - soy, honey, tomato sauce, ginger, wine vinegar, for about 3 hours. Added a bag of stir fry veg to the sauce when the meat was starting to fall of the bone. Served with rice and finger bowls.

Rather than reading a menu. I 'd like to be able to go into the kitchens and have a look at what's on offer. I'm a fan of puddings being on display in a glass cabinet in an 'is it on the trolley?' stylee, with a big jug of proper cream. Squirty cream is the spunk of satan.

I like lots of veg, I just have issues with food with nasty texture. Also, some weird flavours are pretty minging. Had an unknown rice ball in breadcrumbs today - it tasted like lemongrass, orange zest and an unknown spice which almost had me gipping. Maybe mace.
