I guess Lorraine is not generally perceived as a classic beauty in the same way although of course a vivacious personality and sense of fun are attractive traits too.

It might be that most people who are 25 years older than you aren't conventionally attractive, but that's a very weird way of putting it. You could get a freak who doesn't age and is 104 years old, and is very conventionally attractive.

Rather than piss on it, the fact that you yourself just described this imaginary person as a "freak" kinda lends support to my theory that it is unconventional to be attracted to someone much older than you.

This is a tricky one because I don't just want to go the route of picking an older woman, although I do like Marianne Williamson. She's still cracking for 67 but I (mostly) like her politics and I love just listening to her speak. She has that raspy thing going on. I would even be willing to overlook all the orb woo stuff.

Would Kristen Schaal and Siobhan Fallon count as weird crushes? I think it would be doing them both a disservice but I guess they wouldn't be classed as conventionally good looking. I like them anyway.
