Lunch at Breakfast time

I have to leave for work around 4 and I don't get a break at work until around ten.
I quite often eat a curry or soup as my brain thinks it's lunchtime .
Other people I work with can't get their heads around that and think it weird that I don't eat a breakfast.
Is it really that odd?

I would say it's quite unusual, but not illogical.

When I used to have early starts, I would just have like a... I dunno what the standardised term is, but like a Nature Valley bar or similar for my breakfast, and then have an earlier lunch at like 11. But I would usually make that my lighter meal of the day.

Problem I have is I can't wake up get washed and dressed and then eat a breakfast.
I have always needed a couple of hours between waking up and eating.
Although weirdly enough I have no problem with eating a meal just prior to sleeping

Time spent having breakfast is time that could have been spent staying in bed a bit longer instead.

I never feel hungry first thing anyway, though if someone mentions food to me quite early on in the day then it can make me peckish. Otherwise I can get to about half past 1 without needing food.

I often have breakfast between 11:30 and 12 on my days off, but tend to not do so most of the time.

I don't think there's anything odd about it at all. If you leave for work at 4, you're a few hours ahead of most people anyway, so lunch at 10 seems perfectly normal for someone who does this. As for not having breakfast, that's certainly where I would part company with you, but I think a lot of people don't have breakfast.

When I'm on holiday I have a full English (and don't need lunch) but it's too much hassle to cook for myself.
