Saw this recently. Brilliant film. The only Wes Anderson film I haven't seen yet is Rushmore. I think the rest are all great, so I should get my hands on it. Caught the last 45 mins of American beauty when it was on bbc there last month and was reminded of how brilliant a film it is. Agree that a top 20 is a bit too much. One film that would definitely make a top 20 of mine though that I can't see mentioned yet is O'Brother Where Art Thou. Those Lord of the Rings movies weren't bad either in fairness.

Just noticed that the greatest film of all time is on Film 4 now. It's a measure of its greatness that it warrants a New Year's Day slot. It starts again at 12 on Film 4+1 if you want to see the whole glorious thing from the beginning.

Oh, do be quiet. Mark makes the valid point that all this crap is subjective and will constantly change, which makes compiling a definitive top whatever a complete fucking farce. I'm far more suspicious of you and your top 20 which has apparently already been set in stone for the enlightenment of future generations.

I do have a top 'X'. I have a top list of 1 which includes Die Hard.
I also have a bottom list of 2 which includes Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2.

I agree with Jim. I thought it was great. My only criticism is that it's probably just a tiny little bit too long. I wouldn't be watching it on ITV 2 anyway with the addition of ad breaks.

I've seen it and while I have nothing against it, for it not to be overrated it would have to be the greatest film of all time by miles. That's quite a standard.
