People who boast on Facebook etc. about having had a COVID vaccination (especially those who add that NHS frame thing to their profile picture). We get it. You're not a conspiracy theorist anti-science anti-vaccine lunatic. It's a pretty low bar.

People who call it a jab. It just sounds annoying, right?

Agreed. Might start calling it a check hook instead. Much more effective.

It got down to about 12 at one point but it has been over 20. It changes very frequently so I check multiple times a day.

There isn't an official certificate or anything. So I'm not sure you're supposed to ask for evidence.

Matt Rutherford said in another thread about buying lanyards online but I don't know if they're official or just something to look official as a way of shutting people up, and perhaps a money-maker.

I could Google it. Maybe I will.

Edit - On this page, it says:
If you have an age, health or disability reason for not wearing a face covering:

you do not routinely need to show any written evidence of this
you do not need show an exemption card
This means that you do not need to seek advice or request a letter from a medical professional about your reason for not wearing a face covering.

However, some people may feel more comfortable showing something that says they do not have to wear a face covering. This could be in the form of an exemption card, badge or even a home-made sign.

Carrying an exemption card or badge is a personal choice and is not required by law.

Mobile numbers in Ireland are usually xxx xxx xxxx. Although I think my one is easiest if you do xxx xx xx xxx. Basically every mobile number starts 08x with that x determined by your provider. So like all Vodafone numbers start 087 so you'd say 087 xxx xxxx. Wouldn't make sense to say 087x xxx xxx. Just doesn't roll off the tongue as well.

Who has 10-digit phone numbers?

Anyway the only acceptable formation for a mobile number is 5-3-3. You can have a longer first section since the 07 is basically a given if it's a mobile.
Anything starting 020 should of course be 3-4-4.
Anything 08-related can be 4-3-4 or 4-4-3.

While we're at it, encoding these in what I'm going to call Crossword Notation (e.g. xxxxx xxx xxx) rather than what I'm going to call Football Formation Notation (e.g. 5-3-3) is definitely indicative of underlying untrustworthiness. Truly psychopathic behaviour.

01223 Cambridge
01224 Aberdeen
01225 Bath
01226 Barnsley
01227 Canterbury
01228 Carlisle

A selection of area codes. I'd find it a bit odd if anyone in one of these places paused after 0122. Or maybe you shouldn't trust anyone from Cambridge.

For the few places (major cities) with four digit area codes, the next three numbers were originally letters, so that's a natural pause.

Not to mention that anyone who gives you a phone number the way you want isn't going to get a call back, because you're missing the last digit.

There's no record of Lennon ever actually saying that, even though it sounds like the sort of thing he would say. Bit like Hemingway, he sometimes gets credited for saying things he didn't.

I was thinking of Pete Best 😁
To be honest, The Beatles played to Ringo's strengths.
The subtlety of the drumming on Something for example is very good.
I cant recall any big drum solos in the Beatles repertoire, unlike The Who, The Stones, and Led Zepellin for example

Fabulous compositional drummer, as you rightly pointed out in Something, but there are many more examples. Drum solos and all that wank was a 70's phenomenon

Surely drummers are all basically the same. Once you reach the point where you can actually play the drums.

I mean, you don't listen to music for the drums.

Don't be dissing Keith Moons legendary drum solos.
Especially on We Won't Get Fooled again.
Also John Bonham on Moby Dick.
I think he once done 20 minutes during a concert (it's less than 2 minutes on the album)

Anyway drum solos were invented so the front man could go off the stage for his toot of cocaine 😉
