I somehow managed to hold back as I was convinced I'd had either the singular or plural disallowed before. For a moment I was worried I'd made a huge mistake so I was relieved to hear that it wasn't in.

Yeah she managed it ok.

For the 3rd numbers I did:
(6x8)+1=49; 4+7+9=20; 49*20=980
to get 2 away from 978 in the other direction.

For the 4th numbers Rachel did:
75+2=77; 7+6=13; 77*13=1001; 7-3=4; 1001-4=997

Sorry I'm a bit late - been away and catching up. I thought it was spelt with a 2nd 'o' too but may have declared a 9 if I was going 2nd in case you can have it with an 'e'. Saw the 9 in the following round though
