Spoilers For Monday October 1st 2012

Post by James Robinson »

So, into the 10th month we go, and with a possible super tournament to start the new year, we've got plenty of goodness in this series to come, we hope.

After Liam Shaw became the 3rd octochamp of the series on Wednesday, we now have Adam Flinn as the new champion, after his remarkably ordinary century on his debut last Thursday. Can he carry on where he left off today :?:

Back in DC for his 2nd stint after his first one 4 years ago, is the Arctic (and soon to be super-cold Antarctic) explorer, Sir Ranulph Fiennes. 8-)

Our new full-time Monday recapper, Graeme, will be with you later. ;) :) :D  8-)

This.

Rick recovered from 30 points behind to make it a crucial conundrum, and I'm not sure Nick even noticed. I think he's doing a good job, but I'd like to see him get in to the game a bit more.

Third. I think he said "crucial" the first time a game went to a crucial during his tenure but I'm sure he hasn't done since.

Confession time... I missed VAPOURS, a word that I spotted on my debut! :x

MERCADOS in round 11.

Blimey, was it four years ago? I remember his pauciloquent manner clearly (ha! I've wanted to use that word for a long time), and how by the end of the week then I had come round to rather liking his style and anecdotes. I was wondering if they'd ask him back, as he's a refreshing change from TV semi-celebs who have done nothing much other than be on TV.

Similarly, I remember his sensational neck beard that he could weave into his chest rug.
