Spoilers For Wednesday February 15th 2012

Post by James Robinson »

So, Victoria will not become the 2nd octochamp of the series, but we now enter an interesting phase of the series, well interesting to c4cers and Apterites anyway. 8-)

My internal sources tell me that the next 8 episodes will feature no less than 5 Apterites, so plenty of coolness to come. 8-) 8-) 8-)

Chris Rose is the new champion, after he dethroned Victoria yesterday, but for how much longer will he be the champ :?:

Interestingly, we already know that Chris is the winner, because both the contestants today are called Chris. The challenger Chris is our very own Chris Butler. Can he make Apterous/c4c proud :?:

I'll be around with the recap later. ;) :) :D

I've been fired from the Wednesday spot already? ...this is a tough business. :(

EDIT: Because James didn't make this joke, I will, will we also learn this episode if it really IS all about the man, 24 hours later.

Solid debut by Chris, particularly the impressive six small solve.

FIASCO in round 2, SERAGLIO in round 6, RADIANCE in round 8 and GADOID in round 9.

1st numbers: 50x9+75+3 = 528

That cost me a max game today, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. :x

But a very impressive performance by our Chris today. Very calm and professional and a very good 6 small too.

EARPLUG and GRAUPEL in round 4, GIRASOLE/GLACIERS/CARIOLES in round 6 and POSITRON in round 11.

Chris was solid on his debut. Some good spots but still plenty to improve on although nerves were bound to be a factor

Not sure Chris had even started on apterous when he filmed, so really solid standard considering.

I saw ROUNDELAY in round 3 but thought it was an 8 for some reason. EUGLENA in 4, GLACIERS in 6 and SPOONIER in 11.

Think this week's shows were recorded mid-January; certainly next week's and the two after were due to be recorded 6/7/8 Feb. Chris's landmarks show he's been playing apterous since September.

Good performance whatever - good to see someone who can do numbers at last, there's been nobody who can get them consistently since Jack.

Wow ok, had only really seen him around since about January and the build up to CoLin. And agree about the numbers, I missed the first one too (had one away in about 7 different ways).
