Spoilers For Monday January 30th 2012

Post by James Robinson »

So, after the brilliant COLIN tournament over the weekend, it's time to return to the TV show.

Many of you might not have seen Friday's show, and maybe to preserve Sri in the memory in a good light, since as he has now lost, it's unlikely we'll be seeing him on the screen again.

Susan Hughes is the new champion after squeezing out Sri, but can she last more than the one show in the champions' chair :?:

Back in DC for the umpteenth time is Dr. Phil Hammond.

Join Eoin for the recap later. ;) :) :D

I'm pretty sure she solved the conundrum MILLIONTH in an October episode after neither contestant could get it.

Having been away holidaying all month, I had my first 'Nick' experience today. I have to say that it was a bit of a shock to the system because he is so very different from Jeff. He is clearly competent and intelligent but it felt to me that there wasn't a lot of fun being had. I hope that, as people become more accustomed to his style, a bit more banter develops between him and the contestants. It would be a shame if it became too serious.

I thought Susie's comment when the champion went for SQUARE instead of SQUARES was amusing. I would assume that she simply missed the second S or spotted it late, whereas Susie suggested that maybe she didn't think it could be pluralised.
