Spoilers For Thursday October 20th 2011

Post by James Robinson »

35 episodes to go before the finals start, but how many more shocks and surprises are we going to be in for before then :?:

I''m sure not many people would have given Jeff's dark horse, Beryl, much of a chance against Tom yesterday, but take it she did, and now she's the new champion. Can she continue making tracks today :?:

Join me later to find out. ;) :) :D

Controversy as Rachel misses the numbers! (75-4)*(4+1)+(7-1) = 361

I had industry as an alternative in round 13.

That was my way too. Other equalers: DISASTER in the TRAIPSED round, BROADEN against BOATMEN
and VESICANT against CENTAVOS.

First time I ever beat Rachel! (In the 30s)
Second numbers, the way Tony and Chris got it (Watching on +1). Wait, she got it now. FAIL

Not the highest standard but good for drama.Didn't think she was going to pull that one out of the fire.

Yeah, if Rex was playing either of these, both of them would've been on 0 at the end of the 2nd half.

That was a very impressive spot in the conundrum by Beryl. One of the best I've ever seen! Nowhere close was I :!:

DISASTER and PIASTRES in round 3, SONICATE in round 9 and UNTONED in round 11.

Great comeback from Beryl with a superb conundrum solve. She's looking OK although I get the impression that numbers are not for her.

RAINOUT in round one, while I also got INTRUDES and BOATMEN (albeit both a few seconds out of time), otherwise a pretty average performance from me today.

I also got the second numbers within the time limit, using the same method which has already been mentioned. Managed one away on the first numbers: ((25+1)x8+3)x2x2=844. 845 is impossible.
