I thought there might have been a 9 in the round where Debbie got EARLIEST, but I think DC would've mentioned it.

Also I did think there was a word as well called PREVASION.

I had a nine that relied on a slight mis-spelling of steralise*.

Equaller in round 1 with NOCTUID. I missed UNTANGLE and so then trailed to Debbi by 1 point throughout the entire show pretty much until she missed MOATING/ANTILOG. Oh, I also missed PERVASION because I'm rubbish - I had AVERSION. Quality game today, well played Debbi.

I had exactly the same game, Kirk. Had to rely on the conundrum to beat Debbie but I reckon she would have got me had it been crucial.

I considered a beater in round 8, but then wisely decided that HIRSUIT was probably a mis-spelling.
