Spoilers For Monday January 25th 2010

Post by James Robinson »

Well, we enter the 3rd week of Countdown - Series 62, with 1 octochamp already. How many more are there going to be this series :?:

This weekend of course is COLIN (Countdown In Lincoln), so it seems slightly appropriate that our current champion is called Colin, although I think Friday's show will be mostly remembered for the huge amount of disallowed words on show, rather than the fact that Colin won it.

In DC this week is that brilliant magician who'll hopefully provide us with a bit of piff, paff, poof...., oh, wait, wrong one.

In DC this week is that brilliant magician, who doesn't seem to use any magic words, Paul Zenon.

Interestingly, last week's DC guest John Stapleton and his co-presenter and past DC guest Penny Smith, look like they need to find new jobs, if speculation is to believed. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/news/a19 ... -gmtv.html

Who'll be champ at the end of the day? Howard will be along with the recap later.

I think that drum, fife, bugle and trumpet are the only musical instruments that can be used as verbs and turned into agent nouns. All are musical instruments of war. Reason or coincidence, I wonder.
