Very well played Sam. Some fabulously obscure words in there alongside some great numbers solves. Felt for Pete who was probably octochamp material but couldn't seem to make much ground once you got the 9.

Just caught up with this. Forum legend Sam Cappleman-Lynes makes his debut! Great game but as Tom says the Mark Williams (not snooker) lookalike could have been an octochamp under other circumstances.
So it now becomes clear why Sam has been putting in the hours on this forum, because if you're just a mere Apterite when you go on, you're not at the same level as a proper c4c poster.
Surprisingly only 68 posts so far though.
