So VIRULENCE and AVIRULENT were no-gos, but VIRULENT made it on. Odd.

According to the chat page, the conundrum was redone because Sian gave a controversial answer (STATISTICS for STATISTIC). And then she was ruled wrong and Sian was asked to let David attempt the new conundrum alone. Can anyone else confirm this?
I'm not dead yet. In a rut right now because of stress from work. I'll be back later in S89. I also plan to bring back the Mastergram - if I can find a way to run a timer or clock through pure MediaWiki without having to upload to Vimeo every time.

just wondering, does anyone know whether there is an audience in the studio, or are they using "canned" applause?

No studio audience, but the crew are told to applaud at appropriate moments.
