That's not a word, stupid.

Sorry, thought it was some kind of ancient Roman but it's not in.

Missed shitloads of other stuff though. I saw OVERFLIES and discounted as being rubbish, to name one.

I think it's a word, although not in the ODE. A selection of 10 Roman soldiers, although infrequently used now.

Can't add any more spoilers to what's already been said, but I do have a comment on this programme, having just watched it on 4oD - the first prog I missed while being away on hols.

My comment is on Nicholas Owen's spot about the Duke of Buccleuch before the first break. The story was certainly entertaining, and is consistent with other things I've heard about the duke. However, he completely mis-pronounced the duke's title, saying it four times as bow-clur, whereas the correct pronunciation is completely different, and is something like bur-clue. For four years in the 70s I worked at one of the palaces owned by the duke and learnt the correct pronunciation from the estate staff.

What made Nicholas Owen's pronunciation even more strange was an unrelated remark he made towards the end of the programme. He was talking about pronunciation, and how important it is, as a newsreader, to get it correct!
