Excellent debut (sort of) from Ian. I'd expect him to win eight playing like that. But then it would only be fair to let Amey Deshpande have another go as well. But never Joseph Bolas.

The "sort of" went with "debut" rather than "excellent" just to clarify.

Very well played Ian- think John had a shot at winning 8 if he hadn't met you! Good game!

Cheers! I don't think he was too upset about losing anyway, if I remember right, from pub discussion later, he was happy enough with how he'd done.

Edward Woodward, not Wood, amirite?
I'm not dead yet. In a rut right now because of stress from work. I'll be back later in S89. I also plan to bring back the Mastergram - if I can find a way to run a timer or clock through pure MediaWiki without having to upload to Vimeo every time.

Aye, John put up a good show. Should be pleased.

Very well played Ian - enjoyed watching that and look forward to seeing how you do!

It's also good to see one of the "old school" forumers on the show doing well.

Clearly everyone else found something more productive to be doing with their time...

Excellent! :D
Great to see you back on the show, and -touch wood- hurtling headlong toward Octochampdom!
S56 was one of the first series of countdown that I watched all of... and it was bizarre on my first day on Apterous to be playing one of the contestants from it.

All the best with the rest of your shows.
