The challenger seems to be one of these players who seems to do better with hard selections. If there's a 9 then he gets 7. If everyone else is struggling with 5s and 6s - you guessed it - he pulls out a 7. If there's an easy 7, then it's a 5 or a 6.

It's been a while since the last octochamp before today but I can't be bothered to work out if 9 is still realistic right now.
