December! Julie Gray had a good comeback on Friday, now it's get second game

Was a shame that Pete's 3L were not up to scratch unlike Julie's but I must commend him on his spot-on 6 small skills, including the impressive last spot. Made for good viewing. Julie's letters are pretty solid so can see her winning another game or two despite the crucial (which I would have loved to have seen a TB for)..........

Julie's now the only person who can give countdown it's first series with 9 octochamps.

I'm actually astonished how he could do those 6 smalls without being able to do the 3 larges at all. Maybe it wasn't a representative sample but there's quite a lot of overlap in the Venn diagram of the skill sets required.

Can only assume that he overcomplicated things, but I get what you mean.
