Alternative for Round 9: (75 x 5) + 50 - (4 - 3)
Easy Way Out for Round 14: (100 + 10) x 2

Gosh I overlooked the "1" in Round 3 and got 884 instead, what a bad miss! :( Also, had David got 883 Perfectly by finishing his Solution in that same round, the score would have been 62 - 58, so the Conundrum would have been Crucial but alas since he didn't solve it, Jan would have won anyway.

Has a Seies ever had Opposites of a Conundrum tested? We had GODFATHER back in end-March and now GODMOTHER today!

Think Jan will become an octochamp? At least Philip will be in the finals. He can't get lower than 8th seed right?

I think we have seen better players in this series than Jan who won't be making the finals, nevertheless, she is a likeable person so I would not object to seeing her in the finals. A win on Monday would put her in #8 seed, but do not think she will be #8 if she loses that game + I think she has had quite easy opposition so far. Bottom line is I do not think she is octochamp material.

Watches along now and again with me rather than religiously. For the moment anyway.

Imagine if your daughter beat Zarte in every round in the finals?

Come end of June I would still only be imagining it. She's yet to master the 7x table, never mind the 175x table.

Not to mention that it would require Zarte to get no maxes at all, which is extremely unlikely considering he averages around 10 per game :)

Yeah he averages 10 on a bad day. You know, if there are horrible selections, like the s76 final.
