It's a Bank Holiday Monday, but luckily Countdown stops for nothing (except for horse racing and the upcoming Paralympics.....), but we have a full week of word/numbers action ahead.

Martin Hurst managed to survive a real test on Friday from Alan Gillies to wrap up his 2nd win, and will be hoping to win all 5 shows this week to get up to a magnificent 7. 8-)

Gloria Hunniford is in DC all this week.

Reasonably close to the Countdown version of dropping the mic from the bits I saw. Dominant.
Possibly the first contestant to accelerate with a mic clipped...

Today's total mismatch wasn't exactly a treat for Bank Holiday viewers, they should have put the Racing from Epsom on instead!
