Spoilers for Wednesday 25 May 2016 (Series 74, Prelim 75)

Post by Johnny Canuck »

Wiki recap today will be delayed by about an hour; I'm in a school quiz during the first portion of today's show, up until Round 6 or so, and have to use the Windows Recorder on my screen to capture it and watch it later. Good luck to Robin in his sixth game regardless.
I'm not dead yet. In a rut right now because of stress from work. I'll be back later in S89. I also plan to bring back the Mastergram - if I can find a way to run a timer or clock through pure MediaWiki without having to upload to Vimeo every time.

Yep. Just what I was carefully trying to avert for the past five hours happened. Seems my Windows Recorder abruptly, and despite my never having touched it in any way, thought it received a "stop" signal during Fifteen to One, and it skipped recording the first four rounds entirely (the FORTUNATE round was the first one I saw). Uh...I'm going to need help gathering the results for R1-R5 again.

Just FYI, I think at the end of Series 74 I'm going to retire from doing the wikicaps and maybe go back to forumcaps, both because I have school pressures building and because I know it's an incredible hassle for everyone if these things happen and you don't know when they're going to. I try as hard as I can but sometimes it just doesn't match what a UK resident with a TV can do. Sorry.

Thanks a proverbial million, Tony. Just FYI, if you don't have any of these data, Ray or JR could probably fill in the rest.

And anyone catch the first TTT? (By the way, I caught the challenger's full name, so I could have added the game to the main Series 74 page regardless.)

No problem - difficult to type old rounds in when new rounds are coming up.

Question for statistics buffs: Based on the average maxes of his games so far (and the premature yet virtually certain assumption that Robin will complete an octorun), is Robin on track to become the octochamp with the highest potentially available octototal ever?

Currently 852 after 6, which is an average of 142 per game. Gotta be right up there :!: :!:

Missing 4 9's yesterday, haha, but they were hard spots and some I am led to understand were new ones, too.

On another note, I'm famous the web over now on the Countdown website and the history of the show, and that to me means a great deal.
