Post by James Robinson »

Right, it's time to get serious......, the main event isn't too far away now......., we're at the semi-final stage........., and following Jen's quote about "young geeky males" on the show, it's time to bring out............. THE PRETTY BOYS :!: :!: :!: :P :P :P (And yes, I did have the blessing of both players for this, mainly cos it was their idea. :P )

So, while a certain amount of people will probably have their eyes fixated on Rachel Riley, another certain amount of viewers can feast their eyes on the bulging biceps and brains of our two HOT, HOT, HOT semi-finalists.

Our first semi-final sees Giles "Still Undefeated" Hutchings, taking on Dylan "Still A Record Holder" Taylor for the first place in Friday's showpiece final. 8-) 8-) 8-)

Secondly, Series 69 Runner-Up Dylan "The Malpas Mutilator" Taylor - 13 Games, 12 Wins, 1,566 Points. (Average: 120.46)
Highest Score: 129 vs. Leone Mitchell (6th Game)
Lowest Score: 108 vs. Gemma Church (Quarter-Final)

Conundrum Points/Max/%: 70/130 (54%)

Join yours truly for the recap later. ;) :) :D  8-) (In fairness, who else could it be for the PRETTY BOYS match.... :? ;) :) :D  :P  )

Watched this episode in my college's JCR and by the end of it we had a whopping 4 members of the audience. Great episode and you two were totally inseparable, great to watch. Congrats to Dylan and commiserations to Giles.

Interestingly, someone walked in, saw the TV and said "Oh, it's Giles, I went to school with him."

Great game even if they missed GAUDIEST (how did they pass the audition?).

And because I made different predictions in different threads I nailed this result. I am good.

This was the first game I wrongly predicted the outcome of during the tournament :( (Zarte and I were having a prediction game. I won easily.)

Quite a poor quality game really missing GAUDIEST and RAINWASH. None of them deserved to win.

PS 75*50/6-8 was the standard method for the first numbers

Some strange board decisions today. ENTOMB and OUBOET are offered, and ENTOMB goes up. And I think the other one was choosing RAVIOLI over VARIOLA.
