Spoilers for Tuesday 17 November 2015 (Series 73 Prelim 95)

Post by Tony Atkins »

Matthew's seventh game and still going well, though he faded a bit towards the end.

Alt first numbers (10-7)x8x10+6+7=253, PERGANA as a beater to PANZER. There is also a beater in the HOMIES+LFE round.
Well done to the lady in the audience for getting CALIPHATE - not the most common of words.

Sorry Ciaran, LEEWARD is only in the dictionary as an adjective, adverb and mass noun...

I would, along with my 2 ragweeds.
Another way to 253 was (10+10)x(6+7)-7 and I spotted a risky 8 in the levator round, which apparently is ok.
