Brilliant game - I just had JAMB in that round.

Couple of 8-letter beaters around for James (or whoever) to find....

Another good performance from Matthew.

I managed 964 in the final numbers round but there are a couple of ways of getting 965 but both of them are ridiculous.

I also got 964. But I didn't think one of the ways of getting 965 was completely ridiculous. I'm going to break the Atkins rule of not posting stuff you haven't got yourself - ((25*8)+8)*(7-2)-75=965. Not that I'd judge anyone for not getting it, but I think someone could. You're basically doing a 25*8*5 and splitting it. Having to add or take away a large number at the end is fairly normal in 2 large. I often see if I can get target +/- large number.

But yes - today was a very good game. I thought Mr. T might have had the measure of Matt for a bit, and I think he could have won a few himself.

Matt's also had a few difficult numbers and won't be featuring highly on the players with highest percentage of maxed numbers list!

Kudos to Tass, who definitely deserved more than 77 points today. JAMBEAUX was my third favourite letters spot of all time.
I'm not dead yet. In a rut right now because of stress from work. I'll be back later in S89. I also plan to bring back the Mastergram - if I can find a way to run a timer or clock through pure MediaWiki without having to upload to Vimeo every time.

Wow, I did uselessly today against those two! I would have had zero after 3 rounds! Rachel had it dead right at the end saying about those two playing each other being a shame.
Romaine would have won though if he'd seen the straight forward 964 (one away) in the last numbers, which I thought he was going to declare he had.
