A quick check through my notes and the answer is no, DC didn't find any sevens. PENILE was best. A few equallers have been cut out in previous episodes, though.

Thanks again for the "congrats" messages. Yes, Abby was quite unlucky. I think that after STAIRS was disallowed and then that dreadful selection, I think her confidence just plummeted.

I could hear Colin whispering to Susie that he'd got the conundrum, which caused me to panic a little bit for some reason. Then I saw JAIL and ER and hit the bell.

According to Colin Murray, Jesse Owens thanked Luz Long for "helping him" with the only German word he knew, Danke, (German for thanks) if Luz Long spoke to him in English, why did Jesse Owens feel the need to thank him in German when English would have sufficed?
Jesse Owens himself, has admitted the whole "helping incident" never happened, but why let the truth get in the way of a good story!
