It's that time again. We now know the 8 finalists and their seeds, so who will win it? Matchups are as follows:

June 3rd: #1 Seed Tom Cappleman vs #8 Seed Gavin Woolnough
June 4th: #2 Seed Gerry Tynan vs #7 Seed Steve Redfern
June 8th: #3 Seed Tracey Mills vs #6 Seed Jordan Barker
June 9th: #4 Seed Andy Noden vs #5 Seed Kevin Steede
June 10th: Winner of Game 1 vs Winner of Game 4
June 11th: Winner of Game 2 vs Winner of Game 3
June 12th: Winner of Game 5 vs Winner of Game 6

This is an interesting series with lots of octochamps (tied for most in the post-Richard era), and while Tom is most likely the favorite, I think the difference between him and his competitors isn't as wide as Mark's and Dan's were last year. I'll stick with Tom for now, but I wouldn't be surprised if any of the top 4 won it.

Tom is definitely my top pick for series champion.

Since all the players except Gavin have the same number of wins, the seed table is also sorted precisely in order of average scores. As such, I'm betting on the finals being completely true to form with the exception of the 2nd SF, where I'm predicting Tracey might edge out Gerry on a crucial.

I agree with Jordan.. it is very close and tough to call between them..I think the outcome will be that Tom will edge it against Tracey in the final but wouldn't bet lots of money as could as easily be a Andy vs Gerry final
