Our newest champion is Shaun Gill. Can he become our newest multi-day champion by getting a second win?

Probably not the easiest but got 808 on third numbers

(75+25+1)*(4*6/3)
Definitely not Jamie McNeill or Schrodinger's Cat....

As "Monkey gone to heaven" is one of my favourite songs, I spotted PIXIES in the PASTIE round.

Quite pleased with my 137 today. Must be my best playing at home.

Wasn't watching near an Internet source today, but HELICONS was there as a beater in some round. Maybe 5?
Possibly the first contestant to accelerate with a mic clipped...

It was me who also noticed. That's what Gevin meant, I think.
Mike Brown: "Round 12: T N R S A E I G U

C1: SIGNATURE (18) ["9; not written down"]
C2: SEATING (7)
Score: 108–16 (max 113)

Another niner for Adam and yet another century. Well done, that man."

Me too. Also the other annoying thing which happens occasionally:
Champ: 8, REASONED
Nick: Good. What about in the corner?
DC: We got some 7s, blah blah, but there was an 8 there: REASONED
Nick: Wow.
And Champ's sitting there going "the fuck?"

Adam Gillard noticed that too but I forgot to mention it. The weird thing is that it required the obliviousness of both Graeme Le Saux and Susie for them to manage to pull it off in the manner they did.

And Nick as well obviously.

Great look between the contestants at the time too, and I'm pretty convinced Shaun had to stifle a laugh by the time he'd finished picking his next selection.

It's bad enough when they go "but there was an 8.." when a contestant has already given an 8, but to actually give the same word takes the piss :)
