Spoilers For Monday October 27th 2014

Post by James Robinson »

So, we're into the final phase of October, which of course means Hallowe'en this weekend, and on Sunday, it's Countdown's 32nd birthday, with a certain CO-event in Edinburgh on Saturday too. 8-) 8-) 8-)

George "Pryn" Ford has been in spectacular form, particularly in the 4 large numbers games, which we certainly won't be forgetting in a hurry. ;) :) :D :D

Dave Myers is in DC just for today, before Marion Bartoli's favourite, John Inverdale, comes back in for the rest of the week.

Join Andy for the recap later. ;) :) :D

That was more of a standard method solve from George in round 3. I managed to get that one.

And disappointing to see you only go up to 93,800 in R3 when you could have gone to 93,900.

I hope you aren't starting to bottle it.

Looking at that, I'm struggling to see how it seemed so hard at the time. It looks really obvious now.

BAASIE in round 7 but I wouldn't have gone for it. LIGULAR as an alt. to GORILLA in round 1 too. It was in the ODE 2 but removed from ODE 3 and is now in the ODO.

Very good again, George! Keep these awesome four large solves coming :D. Don't even think about ditching it for the evil two large again.
