Spoilers for Thursday February 27th 2014 (S70 P39)

Post by Jordan F »

Andy Naylor is up to 6 wins. 6 wins seems to be the curse this year, in that nobody has gotten past that mark. Can he be the first and get the 7th? The good news is that even if he doesn't win, he should be the number 1 seed for the series right now unless he has a really really bad game, just 12 points will get him there.

Join Jack for the recap later.

Terrible intro to start by Nick, managed to be a dickhead to both competitors there.

APEXING for a round 8 beater. I also saw POLEWARD in round 2, although my thought of PEARLWOOD^ wasn't in. :(

I always think it's funny when Susie announces shorter words. "Also LOTUS for five." And? Sometimes if it's a particularly "nice" word and she gives a reason for mentioning it, it can blend in, but it seems to happen a lot without any particular reason.

Andy, compared to Noel Edmonds, Nick is a gentleman,Edmonds referred to todays DOND player as "moderately articulate"!

Fourth 14-max of the week, I'm clearly cursed or something :!: :!: It was the PHONIER/HYPERON round that cost me. Keep on thinking that hyperion is good, but must be getting that from reading the horse racing in the papers :!: :!: :P

SOSATIE in round 1, RESINATE in round 10 and SQUITS in round 12.

Highest score of the series so far? I suppose if you get off to a really good start your confidence must be high.

Is that for the viewer at home who cannot make up long words?

I don't know, but it just seems out of place sometimes. And I'm not sure it helps if longer words have been mentioned anyway.

Yup, he's had it 3 times (well equalled it the first time. :) ).
