Simon Whitely is up to 4 wins, the first player to get to a 4th win in a decent amount of time. And if he can get a 5th today, that will put him in possible contention to sneak into the finals if a win tomorrow happens. Can Simon get the 5th win?

Two easy 3Ls and a doable 6S (alt ((9x6)-2)x10+3) see Simon undone, so he is not the mysterious finalist.
If either player had got the 9 in the PREHEATS, HEARTIES round it would have avoided the crucial (I didn't get it either).

It was round 11 actually. Round 9 is a numbers game.............Jack Worsley wrote:You could also turn it around slightly for THERAPISE.John Garcia wrote:THERAPIES for 9 in R9
Managed to MAX IT, which I'm always happy with.
ORNATELY in round 13.
2nd Numbers Alt.: ((100 + 9 + 3) x 5) + 9 + 4 = 573
