I suppose the only consolation for Tom, is that Antoinette didn't spot UNCLAMPED.

Also a beater available in R5 (ORANGES+VC).

Alt 3rd numbers (25+(100/50))x(8-3)=135 and 4th numbers (6x10+9-7)x5=310 (before I spotted the obvious).

Did anyone else also notice that if Antoinette had picked a vowel in the first round, we'd have had the exact same letters in round 1 as we did in yesterday's game :?: :? 8-) :shock: :o :geek: :ugeek:

I noticed they were one letter different, but didn't notice that specifically.

(I'm sure she did pick a vowel though. Normally they insist on at least three!)

If Tom had been declaring 2nd he would have probably gone for the 9 because Antoinette would have only declared an 8 and he only had a 7 otherwise. Wonder if it affected how he played afterwards? Hard to tell really, but it looked like he was having fun ;)
