Good luck with this! Looks set to be a great day. Was really excited to come to this but then got invited to a wedding on the same day.

Am I the only person who finds it weird that a Co:Event can get up to 57 entrants without there being a single reply on the C4C thread?

But yeah, I'm surprised at how all these participants have somehow appeared despite the silence. I know this isn't the only Countdown discussion place but I wasn't aware of much going on generally.

Where on Facebook? There isn't really that much on the event page. (Only created on 29th April.)

And if it's on Countdowners any discussion would get instantly buried by all the stuff that gets posted there.

(I unsubscribed from notifications from Countdowners ages ago. It was just too much.)

I did look for this thread a while back and failed to find it - maybe a helpful mod could move it into the events sub forum?

And yep, I saw it all on fb - it was well promoted in the countdowners group.

I'll be back at CO events some time soon but I'm not tempted enough to travel the 9 million miles to Blackpool!

So congratulations to Bradley Horrocks for winning this and to Mark Mills for running the event.

I found the results here (linked to from the Facebook page). I can't see any mention of a final on the greem page, but someone put in the comments on Facebook that Bradley won the final. In any case, I've previously heard that Atropine would put the event winner at the top of the ranking list regardless of seeding.

But this wouldn't be the first time I've seen the final forgotten about! (There was a c4c report once that had the result of all the games except the final!)

My sources tell me that Bradley won the final 58-34 against James Haughton.

Since version 1.1.0, Atropine does indeed put the winner of the final at the top of the ranking list. However, this relies on it being told the result of the final. Very often the tournament organiser doesn't create a fixture in Atropine for the final because it's not really required except for the live-broadcast thing you've linked to, and that's a relatively new feature of Atropine.

After the final is played, there are no later fixtures to generate which would need to take it into account, and if you've just watched the final you don't need Atropine to work out who's won, so it's understandable that with everything else going on, tournament organisers forget to tell Atropine the final result. Perhaps Atropine needs a "please tell me the result of the final" alert which comes on after the appropriate number of players have been highlighted in green.

I've added the final result to that page by doing the Atropine equivalent of offering it an update on the event while wearing a Mark Mills mask.

Done the wiki version now. You can tell where I got lazy/tired. https://wiki.apterous.org/Co-Blackpool_2021

I want to see if I can write a basic program to translate Excel's focaliser into wiki language for the championship table, but since I can't even Javascript, then that's not gonna happen any time soon...

No problem.

I've got my own Excel book of the FOCAL table, which over the last week I have tried to automatically translate into wiki language. Hopefully I can fully do 2016-19's wiki tables as a result in the not-too-distant future.

Highest finishing position at a single event. Then second highest, etc.
