Marathon

Post by Kirk Bevins »

I know this isn't Countdown related but I thought I'd put it here as I think more people read this section of the forum.

I'm running a marathon on Sunday in York for cancer and children's charities. As some of you may know I'm not the fittest of blokes and the furthest I've run before is 10k and now I have to run 42km!

Please can you sponsor me anything to help those kids or people with cancer. It'll also give me the impetus to get round!

Thanks a lot!

Thanks to those who donated. I ran it in 4:24:28 and am hurting real bad right now but knowing it was for a good cause means a lot. Cheers

I think it was that he put an underscore instead of a hyphen.

To go from a 10k to a 42k is great ambition and great achievements. Really awesome!
