As AEGILOPS is not permitted in Lexplorer, surely there is a longer word than ALMOST that is in alphabetical order.
But what is it?

Without looking at lexplorer, can anyone tell me a word which uses all 5 vowels once and has them in alphabetical order? (I have two nines in mind)

FACETIOUS and ABSTEMIOUS come to mind. The second clearly isn't a niner though.

It might not be a niner but it sure is a cool word.

The other nine I had in mind was ARSENIOUS if anyone was interested

CAESIOUS is valid in Scrabble, I played it once against my dad. Good story or what?

If the story had been "CAESIOUS is valid in Scrabble, I played it once against my dad. Then I went outside and it was raining" then I would say it was a good story, but as it stands it doesn't quite do it for me.

IS: ALMOST the longest word in alphabetical order.

(It's only four short of ALMOST - that's almost in my books.)
