Re: Spoilers for Friday 3rd August 2018 (Series 79, Prelim 28)

Poor Bob- was probably his worst showing, but seems to be a recurring theme for people to lose on their 8th game at the moment. Matthew definitely was the better player on the day, so we will see how he does.

Re: Spoilers for Thursday 2nd August 2018 (Series 79, Prelim 27)

Another solid letters performance from Bob, one more then he can relax! ARGILEH was a beater in R4 Solid player- had a few mishaps on the numbers today, but that could be attributed to fatigue. His conundrums are improving too- could be the quickest of the series so far? Nevertheless, Emily kept Bo...

I felt for Will today- have played him before- seems like a nice guy and was a good player who fell foul of the draw. Unfortunately for him, Bob was in very fine form and suspect (and hope!) that we'll see him in the finals.

Girlfriend by Christine and The Queens. It is so monotonous and her voice annoys me in the song. A shame because her other song Tilted is really good. Not many songs give me a headache when it is played, but this does a good job.

If it was anything, my Mum was playing along last night (and scored 57 v Bob, so an okayish player), also got the same result as Jonathan, and was a bit miffed when the solution was revealed. I just personally think the general "You might kick yourselves" was much more appropriate, though ...

Did anyone think Rachel was a tad on the rude side when she said that "you clearly don't know your 75 x tables" at the end of r14. Yes, it was a bad miss, but still thought it was a little uncalled for (not that she is a malicious individual).

I think Bob had actually improved since his first game, and his numbers are better than I first thought. So yes, he could be an octochamp. I didn't actually think Lewis was really octo potential, but anyone who can win one game could potentially win eight, by just stringing them together and not ge...

My initial impression is that he probably won't do it. He had a decent game today, but seemed to fade, so I think his big lead probably came from him "overperforming" relative to his mean. But we'll find out! I would agree that he over performed in the 1st half- he still did a good job, a...

Re: Spoilers for Friday 22nd June 2018 (Series 78, GRAND FINAL)

I think it was the best final I've ever watched. Superb standard by both. Huge congrats to Zarte, but it could have gone either way. To come from 6 wins to a finalist is fan Philip- you did yourself very proud.

Good game today by both. Well done Philip- a very worthy finalist and commiserations to Dougie, who gave a great portrayal of himself ability and personality wise.

The 690 miss by Philip made things interesting, but still very early days....
