I make it 22 countries. The asterisks are for countries I’ve been to football matches in, cos that’s how I roll. UK [3***], Ireland [2**] (see what I did there?) Spain, Portugal (family hols and a couple of other trips to Spain) USA (work, but with some touristy bits. Almost got shot in New York) Au...

Re: How many Numbers puzzles are there in total?

I too am amazed by the Nasty 3L revelation! I guess, as Jon suggests, the smaller large numbers are more flexible. For starters multplying any two of 25, 50, 75 and 100 immediately catapults you way out of potential target range, where 12 x 37 = 444 or 12 x 62 = 744 are immediately usable. Experienc...

A group tried to do this on the Irish lottery about fifteen or so years ago, but wasn't (?) the flaw in their plan that while they did cover all the combinations (I think it was the 13 million or so from the 1-49 model), they didn't (well, couldn't) cater for which numbers came out; as it happened,...

A max game is a max game, even if you have a futile stab at an impossible round.

A "perfect" game is something else entirely, imo. ie the top possible score in every round, so 200 point NA or CA or a theoretical 230 point 15 rounded or 360 point LA (that's a challenge for Conor).
