I think the cover is ok, but never "far superior". I wasn't expecting many people to agree, hence why I thought it suited the thread title perfectly. Here's another one - I find Joni Mitchell almost unbearable to listen to. Just something about the tone/pitch of her voice, I always think ...

8.33% is just the first available increment, so the truly acceptable level could be anywhere between 0.01% and 8.33%. Of the 3 main options, 169 is therefore clearly way too high, and 145 almost certainly too low. I'm going to suggest 152.

If I'm loosing, 3 large. If I'm tighting, 1 large.
2 large can be pretty evil, despite what any computer analysis will tell you. There's often no obvious start point. It might be the easiest selection given 30 minutes, but in 30 seconds it has to be 1 large.

The 5 areas that most damage the max score % are missed conundrums (Elliott didn't), missed 9s (Elliott didn't), missed numbers (he maxed 31/32), invalid words (just Moonies), and being beaten by your opponent (he wasn't).
This octorun record could last 20 years.

If any bitter Dylan fans start arguing that high scores are easier these days because of all the new dictionary additions, the counter argument is that it's therefore harder to get maxes. Beating the maxes record too is possibly the most impressive record of the lot.
