Re: C4C/apto/Countdown Dreams

Had a brief one last night where Innis Carson had been allowed back on to Countdown (hey, maybe there's hope for James Robinson yet...). Excellent score today by Philip, and very fast con too - not many could have had a chance on that!

Might be a risky thing to put down your pen after a while in the numbers round though...if I saw someone doing that I'd definitely start looking for a simpler method.

Re: Spoilers for Tuesday 16th January 2018 (Series 78, Prelim 6)

Surprised Susie didn't extend Mary's NOTATE to ANNOTATE in R1. Bad miss! I was doubting as to whether I was seeing a phantom letter there :D I doubt she missed it - she likely just didn't want to embarrass Mary and so withheld it. If she did miss it though then meh, it's much easier to do sat at ho...

Also, when Susie says "I think there might be an X...I'll have another look" does she ever actually do this or is it just to save face at the fact there might be an obvious word she's missed? I've never seen them pan back to her.

VOLUMED for Round 2...surprising DC missed this. I risked that one though... I considered this strongly but bottled it to be honest. Gonna mention that my dad found RHEOSTAT before me, which is an impressive spot for someone who doesn't practise at all save watching the show in an evening. He's get...
