You entering competitions again? Any context to go with this at all that might help? Yes and no, respectively. The title is "name game", hence my clue that it's to do with people. "What letter should appear next in this sequence?" (so that also implies that position is important)

Another close game with a crucial conundrum. Lovely stuff. I wonder the percentage of games so far that have had crucials compared with a standard series...much more? If we consider only 15 rounders, the database I have has 2510 applicable games in it (spanning from September 2001 to October 2012)....

I learnt it in German at school and it was pronounced "noi-ter". Then I learnt about the pets thing and assumed it was pronounced the same. Not a silly assumption at all.Adam Gillard wrote:Isn't it "new-ter" as in neutering pets and "noi-ter" as in the German case?
