An ideal points system would probably take into account odds of dying (incorporating age and known illnesses) and extra points for the better known they are. If the dictionary is declared to be Apterous, then it's not really an error or omission, just that CO-events/Apterous are not Countdown, even if they try to emulate it. But it is arguably unsatisfactory.

Yeah, I think it comes across as quite combative, though in a given situation, the person's tone might not be. More difficult to tell in writing, but I doubt Adam was trying a start a fight with Dan. (And he apologised for his strong response anyway.)
