Re: The Countdown Android App is now out!
Having managed it again this morning, it's the back to menu top left I'm pressing on autopilot, so a confirmation there would work if it's a more common issue than just me! Thanks for pointing this one out, I've fixed this. I've also fixed the 6 small issue reported by Phil and Graeme. Thanks for a...

Bumping this - the tool that was used for hosting the finals yesterday implemented "algorithm 2" as outlined by Jack (although with 9 or 15 rounders (code bugs excepted!) we're never going to get near the end of the pack so algorithm 1 is probably fine!) I think it felt about right - ther...

Does anybody have opinions for FOCAL finals? This event is a bit different from the rest because it's the top players from the year, so higher average standard, and more crucials are likely. it seems unfair to give the top table a harder conundrum. Your point is 100% valid, but.... Ruth's approach at London was initially to play a bunch of cons on your app and save off some interesting ones, but they tended too easy. Setting Conundrums at Co Events
Setting good conundrums for co-events sounds like quite an undertaking. If you are doing Lincoln style, you have to print hundreds. You ideally want to check for no repeats, unique solutions and a good spread of difficulty. For a final I guess you want to find something special. Hosts seem to do a g...

The S63-S64 period was pretty damn strong. Ed McCullagh and Eoin Monoghan two exquisite players. Eoin missing out on 30BC was a huge shame, and Eddy also was pretty hard done by losing in his RD1 draw losing to Rawlo on a tiebreak.
