Re: Spoilers for Monday August 29th 2011
Thanks dudes by the way. Took a one way train to Beamish Town yesterday as a result of being all famous and all so I've been somewhat under the weather all day hence the brevity of my posts. Erm, what can I say, I blew it. I was beyond gutted when I messed up that 164, not least because I had 163 wr...

Yup well spotted, and James Doohan was sitting in the seat in front of me. A mate of mine paused the telly for the conundrum yesterday and happened to spot me.James Robinson wrote:P.S. Did I notice Andy Wilson sitting near the back of the audience at the end..........
Re: Riots
It's an importance level thing. There's something not right about a person who saves penalties getting paid so much more than one who saves lives.

Re: Riots
I think it's funny that the likes of Wayne Rooney and Ferdinand, two working class boys done good and I suppose, symbols of the massive class divide, don't seem to appreciate that they are part of the problem, demanding such obscene amounts of money for their trade and living extravagant lifestyles...
Re: Riots
Yeah, fair point, and to be honest, i probably don't really know what I'm talking about as usual, sitting here waffling in my little idealistic bubble of assumption. I suppose I'm thinking about the gulf from the top to the bottom really. I mean, there are a lot of down and outs in this town and yet...
Re: Riots
A horrible side effect to it all is that people have made smashing shit and taking stuff look pretty easy. There's bound to be an increase in I suppose what we could in this day and age call petty crime, compared to corruption in the land of business.

Yeah, seems I was lucky enough to be up late last night. Couldn't get in at all this morning to give the team a last look, couldn't even remember who I had to be honest. James Doohan had been logged in all night and site was working fine for himself so it must have just been a capacity issue. I'd im...

Finally getting a chance to mess with my team. I believe the site was down for a good while. Hope that didn't catch anyone out. Last call for anyone who doesn't want to miss the first boat. Or then you could be ultra cool and join next week and still beat everyone. Anyone care to reveal any top tips...
Re: Riots
What on earth are you happy about? I did say, 'In a sense'. I'm happy that class divide as an issue has been thrust to the forefront. I do at the same time find it all more than a little distressing. It's very sad to see it all unfolding from a distance. I am above all surprised that this is capabl...

Re: Riots
I guess in general there are plenty of stories of unnecessary police heavy handedness and bent policemen and so on it's easy to focus on this. It certainly must be seen as a big factor in this weeks shocking events, the us Vs them nature of it all. It's hard to defend that officer in the video. He j...

I just came here because it was populated by mainly people from England. I'm a little ashamed to admit that it does excite me a little that this is possible. Maybe if we can get some banners done up and get down the front we can convince sky news it's a protest to bring back COC?
Re: Riots
Just came on to see if there was a topic on this. In the meantime I've spoken to a friend whose boyfriend got a chase and a few digs and his iphone nicked about half an hour ago. He was filming some lads looting a jewelers. I'm quite confused as well. I guess the only real uniting factor is that the...
