Wonder why Edward had to go first in the 2nd numbers round when he didn't say he hadn't written it down - unless that bit was editted.

Ok, so Michelle missed the 7 in the 1st numbers, but it was also a valuable lesson in doing your adding and subtracting first before multiplying by the same number, which would have given her the other 4 she thought she needed. Shame x 2!

Re: Spoilers for Wednesday July 2nd 2014 (S71 P3)

2nd Numbers Alt.: (((8 x 6) + 1 - 10) x 25) + 3 = 978 3rd Numbers Alt.: (75 x 10) - 25 - 3 = 722 Did those two those ways too. 1st as Rachel and 4th alt: (100 x 3) - ((6 + 5) x (10 - 8)). Shame the challenger got the 4th, I was hoping for a 40-0 win over both contestants today ;) I really wish I co...

Re: Spoilers For Monday June 30th 2014

R9 alt: (75 + (6 x 2 + 1)) x 3 or 4x66 Or 6 + 9 - 2 for the 13. To me it looked a bit strange having Susie sat there and us not being able to see what she was looking at. She could have been playing games or doing Rachel's shopping for all we knew. I'm not sure it would help if we had the same view...

Re: Grand Final Spoilers For Friday June 27th 2014

Was it me or did it look like Andy had to hurriedly find an alternate solution to the 524 numbers round? Nick admitted he was worried for him as he explained his method. It looked as if he forgot to say he hadn't written it down, but had Mark not declared 'not properly written down' then Andy would ...

Re: Spoilers for Thursday June 26th 2014 (S70 SF2)

Second numbers (also out of time): (75+8) x (8+4) +10 - 25 = 981 Same way, but withIN time! Unusual for me ;) Shame RR didn't come back with the answer. Last numbers alt: (10 + 1 x 10 + 6) x 3 = 348. Saw parotid too! Must be awake today! Looking forward to the final though I'm a day behind again ;(...

Re: Spoilers For Monday June 23rd 2014

Couple of alt numbers games, sorry a bit late in watching:
481 = ((6 x (7 + 4) + 3) x 7) - 2
236 = (50 + 9) x (7 - 3)

I rubbishly went for "SOIGNIER" while the correct word is SEIGNIOR.

Only managed to restore some honour with LAMPOON and CARRIED/PARRIED and an alt of (50-10)x7+5.
Had ignorers too. It's ok then?
Alt 4th numbers a rather weird ((75-50) x 10) + (7x5)

Re: Spoilers for Wednesday June 4th 2014 (S70 P95)

Did Pad (the challenger) find a flaw in the conundrum? Having declared INCORRECT and the solve was shown as INCORRECT (like they normally have done) would he have got the points for being correct? He did well there. I think it's been discussed on here before that someone could do that. Also I like ...
