By some quick and probably flawed calculations, if the moon were a spherical mirror the amount of light reflected to us even at full moon would be less than 1/40000 of the amount we receive directly from the sun in daylight. Due to angles and stuff. You'd do much better doing what the Russians tried...

Following the tweaks to bot/arithmetician numbers declarations on September 3rd, impossible numbers rounds no longer count as maxed rounds (even if you declare the closest achievable total). Possibly not important for the most part but it does completely scupper my attempts at a 5 small octorock max...

QIBLA, QIBLAH, KIBLA, KIBLAH are all in, as are QIBLAHS and KIBLAS. So I believe QIBLAS and KIBLAHS need adding. Think this may have been discussed before, but in ODE3 there is no suggestion that they are not pluralisable.

Also, well done to Joseph on beating Chris , but should the system not knit the two games together like an ordinary 15 rounder, rather than effectively applying flat scoring, and allowing both players to get points for the conundrum? Had this match happened head-to-head, Chris would have won 95-73....

I think the amount of time in spoilage rounds needs to be increased to 45 seconds. We get 45 seconds in Hyper Numbers and Spoilage is much harder and we only get 30 seconds per round. I think this needs changing. It's meant to be harder! True. Too hard for me I reckon, it takes me about 25 seconds ...

Maybe a tournament like this would work if it was organised as a single league system, all-play-all during the day, with perhaps 2 points for a win, 1 point for a loss, 0 points for an unplayed match. No-shows wouldn't then cause a problem and players would be rewarded for participating fully.
