I always wanted to be a maths teacher or a darts shouter. When maths teaching went down the pan I decided the actuarial route was for me as it involved numbers and paid well. The darts shouter is still a dream and I've now got the experience behind me for if/when that opportunity arises.

I've never won on word soup. Hexagrams however I win the jackpot virtually every time. Hex, as played in Lincoln with the other Countdowners, we won 6/6 times. It's a shame the new machines have scrapped Hexagrams and made Hex so hard to win on.
